Don't worry, this time shall pass...😉 |
Hey there! you are here that means you are looking for places where you can do your collateral visit. Here, I would like to let you know that you have to do collateral visits according to your Field-Work and in collateral visits, you can co-relate the work of your fieldwork.
For example: If you are placed in any agency, where you have to work with children then you should visit places like schools, education centers, etc. OR if your agency is doing CSR activities then you should visit places that are performing CSR activities. (If you are placed in Aura, then you should visit Nootan Baal Shangh, Schools, etc)
First, collaborate with your classmates and visit each other's agency according to your fieldwork.
Below, I have listed down agencies in which everyone most probably will get placed. So everyone kindly help each other and try to visit places where you can also participate in some activities and not just visit any place to only collect the information about the Agency/Place, that you will get from the website also.
Sometimes, you won't get direct permission at any place. That's why I have attached a sample permission letter to take permission from the faculty and submit it to the collateral visit place.
You are required to visit a minimum of six (6) places every semester for collateral visits. However, during my time under the supervision of the Dean for two consecutive semesters, I was instructed to do collateral visits every week throughout the semester. To be on the safer side, it is recommended to complete at least eight (8) visits per semester.
Collateral Visit Places:
- Deepak Medical Foundation
- Pahel
- Baroda Citizen Council
- Corporate Citizens
- Aura
- Tecso Global Foundation
- GACL Education Society
- Vadodara Environmental Channel Ltd
- Schafler
- Aatapi Foundation
- Idex CSR
- Vivec Foundation
- Zydus Cadila CSR
- Sumeru Hospital (Karjan)
- Cosmos Foundation
- Sun Pharma CSR
- PGP Glass Pvt. Ltd
- Aditya Birla Insulator
- Friends Society
- ICDS Office Vadodara
- Red Cross Society
- .....
I would like to inform you that the best way to fulfill your collateral visit requirement is by visiting the agencies where your batchmates have been placed. This approach offers the easiest way to complete your collateral visit.
I would suggest you that kindly visit all six collateral in your first TWO months, as at the end your schedule would be so tight that you hardly get free time to visit places and eventually you might end up with fewer collateral visits and that will cause you in your conference and final viva.
I hope this much of small help from my end will make your work easier. If you like this then share this among your batchmates.
Sharing is Caring! ✌
