Second Year - Collateral Reading Topics

Image
Howdy, Moye...Moye...👀 In the second year, you will be placed in industrial settings, and by the end of your third semester, the placement season will also commence. Therefore, everyone must focus on your learning, which will ultimately aid in securing a placement. This year, you will need to engage in collateral reading related to HR practices and labor laws. These topics are highly beneficial in shaping your career in HR. I understand that you don't need to cover all the collateral readings listed below, but you will be required to complete approximately 30 collateral readings including both your third and fourth semesters. Kindly shortlist your collateral reading topics based on industry practices and what you deem important for your career. I'd like to express my gratitude to all my classmates who promptly shared their respective collateral reading topics. I hope you make the most out of this...   Faculty of Social Work - MSU Baroda Notice:  As of now there is NO Change in admision process, I have mentioned complete entrance exam process below, however re cently, you might have observed that, as per the UGC Guidelines, the admission process for master's degree courses has been centralized. Therefore, Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) has removed its own entrance test (TISSNET) and included CUET in the admission process. Additionally, in Gujarat, the government has already passed the Common University Act, and there are rumors that centralized admission processes may be implemented for MHRM & MSW courses as well. So, for safety, I request all of you to also appear for the CMAT examination. Because, if any changes occur in the admission process this year or in the next, you might only get to know at the last moment. Therefore, for safety, register yourself for the CMAT exam and aim to score well in it. --------------------------------------------------- This articl
